Here's a different font I've been toying around with. 

The King's Speech wins!

Yay!  Colin Firth won the Oscar for The King's Speech.  I thought it was such a great movie.  On a side note, I really want to watch Natalie Portman in Black Swan, but am too chicken to do it.  It's supposed to be pretty creepy.  Maybe I'll make my husband watch it and tell me what happens.

I love, love, love purple.

The Secret of Kells (movie)

I saw this great animated movie called The Secret of Kells.  It turned out to be an incredible visual feast!  I've never seen animation like this and because the story involved calligraphy,  the designs looked like those old manuscripts you see in museums.  The story was moving and sad at times, but I highly recommend it.

LOL (Lots of Love)

I love writing the word "love".  It's so easy and always looks good, even when you're goofing around.

Here's a variation I do on a typewriter font.  I just vary the lines so that it looks happier.

Return Address Design

Here's a return address design I came up with. 

Put a cork in it

Some new stuff I am working on.  My friend said photos look more alive with stuff in the background; hence, the cork.

A new "font"

Here's a "font" I came up.  Calligraphers never use the word "font".  We're supposed to call them "hands", but then no one will know what I'm talking about.
